Hyperion (by Dan Simmons) w/Sam Rebelein

SSN. 3 | Episode 21 | Fermented Fiction Rating: 2 sipping drinks per 'Tale' except for the Martin Silenas 'Tale.' For that one, keep up with him. Get plastered ;)

What up Fermented Folks!

Tonight we have another great episode of Fermented Fiction for all you lovely people.

Welcome to the show, Sam Rebelein, award-winning author of many short stories, including his newest collection "The Poorly Made and Other Things" and his Wonderland-winning, Stoker-nominated debut novel "Edenville."

Our debate topic for this evening is Dan Simmons's Hugo Award-winning novel Hyperion. For those who haven't heard of this book, it's structurally a modern(ish), sci-fi version of The Canterbury Tales. But with so many different perspectives on one story...including the four perspectives present on our show... is this book truly worth a read? The accolades? Tune in to see what we think, then decide for yourselves ;).

You can follow Sam at the link below:

As always, thanks for listening and we’ll see you next time :)
